Please be informed that effective 28th, January 2011, the Chalky Mount service will only travel to the junction of St. Sylvans Village (Dark Hole) and Lower Parks (by the diversion sign). This has become necessary as the area commonly referred to as Dark Hole is considered to be too treacherous for the bus to navigate safely at this time. The following bus services travelling to this area will be affected by this disruption in service.
These are:
- All Chalky Mount Services from the Princess Alice terminal;
- From the Fairchild Street Terminal the services at 2130, 2300, 2405; and
- From Chalky Mount the 0500 service into Bridgetown.
